Very simple, the lamp string is a series and parallel circuit structure composed of 3 LED as a group, every 3 LED can be cut off for separate use.

2. Outdoor installation of lamp string plug

Outdoor installation due to the wind and rain, if the use of 3M glue fixed, a long time will cause 3M adhesive reduced and resulting in light string off, so outdoor installation is often fixed by card slot. Where you need to cut and connect, the method is the same as indoor installation, but you need to be equipped with waterproof glue in addition to consolidate the waterproof effect of the connection points.

3. Power connection method of power cord plug

The general voltage of the string lights is 12V DC. Therefore, the switching power supply is required. The power supply depends on the power of the string lights and the connection length. If you do not want each lamp string to be controlled by a power supply, you can buy a relatively large power switching power supply as the main power supply, and then connect all the lamp string input power supply in parallel (if the size of the wire is not enough, it can be extended), unified by the main switching power supply. The advantage of this is that it can be controlled centrally. The inconvenient place is that it cannot realize the lighting effect and switch control of a single lamp string. 4. Connection mode of lamp string controller

LED running horse light belt and RGB full color light belt need to use the controller to achieve the effect of change, and the control distance of each controller is not the same, generally speaking, the control distance of simple controller is 10 to 15 meters, the control distance of remote control controller is 15 to 20 meters, the longest can control to 30 meters distance. If the lamp string connection distance is long, and the controller cannot control that long lamp strip, then you need to use a power amplifier to tap.

5. Pay attention to the connection distance of the lamp string plug

Generally speaking, the longest connection distance of 3528 series lights is 20 meters, and the longest connection distance of 5050 series lights is 15 meters. If the connection distance is exceeded, the lamp string is easy to heat, the use of the process will affect the service life of the lamp string. Therefore, the installation must be in accordance with the requirements of the manufacturer, do not let the lamp string overload operation.
